Coach Baker Memorial Award

For students from Charleston HS. Must show potential for success through hard work. Requires resume of achievements, 3 character references.

Full description:
The following criteria must be met:

1. The recipient must be a full-time student accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
2. The recipient must be pending graduation or have graduated from Charleston High School, Charleston, Illinois.
3. The “worthy” recipient shall be able to demonstrate the embodiment of the character assets identified in the attached biography excerpt.
4. Financial need is a consideration and may be used by the selection committee as the determining factor should all other criteria be equal.
5. The recipient need not be an “A” student, but shall show potential for success through the guiding principle that hard work will bring future reward.
6. The recipient must be in good academic standing at the time the award is issued.

This award is to be announced in the Spring and awarded in the Fall and/or Spring semester.
