Aletheia Annual Philosophy Scholarship

Criteria for selection are as follows:

1. Must be an incoming freshman or transfer student, majoring in Philosophy or Philosophy: Integrative Studies, accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
2. Please provide a brief essay (minimum of 750 words) on why you think philosophy is important in today’s society and how it has affected your personal life or beliefs.
3. Financial need may be a consideration.

The recipient(s) are not eligible to apply for the award again.
The award shall be announced in the Spring and paid in the Fall semester.
