Burgner Memorial Scholarship

For Biology majors from Charleston or Mattoon HS, or rural Coles County, interested in studying botany, zoology, or environmental sciences.

Full description:
The following criteria must be met:

1. The scholarship recipient shall be a graduate of Charleston OR Mattoon High School. Further preference for the scholarship will be given to rural residents of Coles County.
2. The recipient will be of outstanding character, majoring in Biological Sciences, desiring to study Animal Sciences, Botanical Sciences, or Environmental Science.
3. Financial need is NOT a consideration.

Award announced in the spring and awarded in the fall.
