Bud and Jo Sanders Scholarship
For undergraduates who work 20 hours per week. Requires 2.5 GPA; employee verification, recommendation. Preference given to BSWs at EIU.
Full description:
The following criteria must be met:
- The recipient(s) must be a full-time undergraduate accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
- The recipient(s) must maintain an overall GPA of at least 2.50.
- The recipient(s) must be employed a minimum of 20 hours per week with verification from their employer.
- Letter of recommendation from the employer is required.
- Preference shall be given to students who are employed as Building Service Workers.
- Financial need is a consideration.
- The recipient(s) are eligible to apply for the award again provided he/she continues to meet the criteria stated herein.
This award is announced in the Spring and disbursed in the Fall.
