Sylvia R. Nichols Scholarship

Criteria for selection are as follows:
1.) Must be a full-time student accepted to Eastern Illinois University who is either a Chemistry major or a Chemistry major planning to complete teacher certification within a specialization in Chemistry.
2.) Recipient(s) are eligible to receive the award for subsequent years provided they maintain a 3.0 GPA.
3.) Financial need is not to be considered in the selection process.
4.) Preference shall be given to women applicants who plan to pursue a career in Chemistry.

The award shall be announced in the spring and paid in the fall semester.
