Broadcast Journalism Scholarship

For Broadcast Journalism majors interested in it as a career. Requires 2.0 GPA, nomination by Journalism faculty or letter of recommendation.

Full description:
The following criteria must be met:

1. The recipient(s) must be accepted to Eastern Illinois University as a full-time student and must be majoring in Broadcast Journalism.
2. The recipient(s) must have a minimum 2.0 GPA.
3. The recipient(s) must have an interest in a career in broadcast journalism.
4. The recipient(s) must be nominated by Journalism faculty members; OR if the applicant is a high school senior, he/she may be recommended by a high school counselor, advisor, or administrator.

The recipient(s) may be eligible to apply for and receive the award again provided he/she continues to meet the criteria stated above.
Awards will be announced in the Spring and paid the following Fall semester.
