Louise Murray Scholarship

The following criteria must be met:
1. The award will go to a recipient(s) with a declared major in English or Education or any English minor, who has been accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
2. The Award will go to the recipient(s) who submits the best example of original writing for children or young adults in genres such as poetry, picture book, short fiction, or novel (chapters from a longer work will be accepted), or the best critical writing about children’s young adult literature.

This award is announced and disbursed in the Spring semester.
