Attainment Fund Scholarship

Established in 1965 to provide financial assistance to outstanding students, the award presently goes each year to one or more students who have attained at least sophomore standing and who need at least one more year of study to receive a bachelor’s degree. Selection of the recipient, including the determination of financial need, is made by the Financial Grants Committee. Nominations are made by various departments on campus (this is done by requesting a letter of recommendation from a faculty member or counselor).

The following criteria must be met:
1. The recipient shall be a Sophomore who needs at least one more year of study to receive a Bachelors Degree.
2. The recipient shall have an academic record of 3.0 or better.
3. Financial need IS a consideration.
4. Letter of recommendation is required. Please provide the name and email address of the faculty member or counselor in order to submit.

This award is announced in the Spring and disbursed in the following Fall and Spring.
