Presidential Scholars Award Fund
The following criteria must be met:
1. The recipient(s) must have a 30 ACT score and either rank in the top 10% of their high school class or have a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale; or have an ACT score of 28 and either rank in the top 5% of their graduating class or have a 3.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
2. The student must have applied for the scholarship, must be a full-time student, and must be accepted to Eastern Illinois University.
3. The scholarship is for tuition and fees for a maximum of fifteen credit hours per semester, awarded to students billed as in-state residents; transfer students are not to be considered.
4. The recipient(s) must also apply for the ISAC Monetary Award Program (MAP) through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
5. Financial need is not a consideration.
The recipient may be eligible to renew the award provided they are continuously enrolled and remain in good standing in the Honors College. This renewable award has a limit of four academic years regardless of degree major. This award will be used as a variable against any additional scholarship the recipient may receive, and secondary to any other scholarship they receive which covers tuition and fees.
This award is selected in the Spring and paid in the following Fall and Spring semesters.
