Stanley and Frances Campbell Memorial Scholarship

Established by Gary and Sue Payton to provide merit-based scholarships to Kinesiology and Sports Studies students who demonstrate excellent promise as young professionals while memorializing Mr. & Mrs. Campbell, the parents of EIU graduates Sue C. Payton, Tom R. Campbell and Wayne A. Campbell. Stanley and Frances Campbell emphasized to their children the importance of education and integrity as foundations for “academic excellence, personal growth, and professional success” and entrusted Eastern Illinois University with their most precious assets. The Stanley and Frances Campbell Memorial Scholarship will “give back” to EIU by funding, in perpetuity, the education of future EIU students.
