Samantha E. Middendorf Memorial Journalism Scholarship

The Samantha E. Middendorf Memorial Journalism Scholarship was established in 2015 to memorialize the life and journalistic work of Samantha Middendorf a former Eastern Illinois University student and Daily Eastern News (DEN) Entertainment Editor. The purpose of this scholarship is to assist journalism students who struggle with financial burdens while seeking an undergraduate degree. This scholarship strives to alleviate some of that burden so that students may focus more completely on their education and pursuit of a career in journalism.
