Impact

" I chose to attend EIU because I felt right at home when touring the campus. The faculty, staff, and students were all so welcoming and excited to be a part of EIU. I loved how easy it was to get around campus, and the psychology department made me excited about going to school. Overall, EIU made me feel right at home when I was actually four hours away from home. Receiving this scholarship is allowing me to continue my education at Eastern Illinois University. I pay for my schooling on my own, but its often difficult to earn enough money while also attending school full time. This scholarship will allow me to focus more on my academics and worry less about finding the funding to continue my education. I feel incredibly thankful to receive this scholarship because it has enabled me to be a student at EIU and continue my involvement on campus and in the Charleston community in general."
