Impact

Money has always been scarce in my family so it was up to me to fund my college career. Since I work non-stop at The Daily Eastern News (the student-run newspaper), I can’t afford to find another part-time job so this scholarship will help pay for the costs of school and my apartment of course. I rely on financial aid to get me through school and this is the first year I won’t have to take out loans thanks to my financial aid. I’m very grateful for this scholarship and all the help I continue to receive from the journalism department and our proud alumni.
