Amanda Kent Educational Annual Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 2015 to memorialize the life and educational work of Amanda Kent a former Eastern Illinois University student and teacher in the Decatur Public Schools. The purpose of the scholarship is to assist education majors who struggle with financial burden while seeking an undergraduate degree. This scholarship strives to alleviate some of that burden so that students may focus more completely on their education and pursuit of a career in education.
